May 27 - May 31

Mommy was slack on taking pictures this week. She says she figured the beach post was good enough. But, here are some pictures from this morning. AND at the end, there is a surprise :)

SURPRISE :) It's our first video!!! The new thing I'm doing is week is rolling over. Mrs. Ruby told my dad about it last night. So, he and Mommy put me on the floor last night to watch me in action. I did it for Mommy this morning on her bed....so she grabbed her camera and took a small video but of COURSE, I didn't completely cooperate but at least you get to see me in a movie :)

Beach - Memorial Day Weekend

OK - Mommy couldn't wait for me to post our beach pictures, so here they are. We got to the beach around 2:00 on Saturday, May 24th. It was raining and chilly out, so we stayed around the house all day. Sunday, we went to the beach. The weather was BEAUTIFUL! It wasn't hot at all. There was a very nice breeze blowing, so the beach was very enjoyable. Mom says I got spolied on my first visit. Mommy coated me from head (yes, this includes my head/hair) to toe with baby sunblock. She and Daddy used it too. Daddy and Grandpa had a hard time trying to set up my tent because of the breeze. It was kind of funny. Anyways, here are our pictures.

Mommy is helping me put my feet on the beach sand for the very first time. I don't look very thrilled, huh? Check out those swim trunks :)

Man this water was cold but I was a man about it :) Mommy and Daddy couldn't believe I didn't try to take my feet out of the water.

Mommy made Daddy hold me up so we could actually get a picture of me with the beach water behind me...

So far, it's been a tiring day. So, I decided to take a short nap.

OK, this picture did not turn out like Mommy was hoping it would. We went to Bass Pro Shops on Monday, Memorial Day and Mommy took a picture of me infront of the door because she wasn't able to get the big sign above our heads. BUT, as you can see, you can't read the door very well. Oh well, I'm sure I'll be back to Bass Pro before too long.

I found my Christmas present from Santa. Here is a picture of me and Daddy sitting on it.

To tide me over, my Daddy bought me a stuffed deer, a float and a pair of camo overalls. Grandpa thinks it is funny that Daddy did not get anything for himself. I have slept with my stuffed deer every afternoon so far. I really like chewing on his antlers. Daddy says that's a sign that I will like to eat deer when I get older and will want to learn to hunt with him.

Mother's Day - May 11, 2008

I know this is a little delayed in being posted but my Mommy just got these pictures from my Meme this week (snail mail).

This is what I got my Mommy. It is a little boy charm where the belly is my birthstone. I also got her 2 little gold beads to go on her chain.

This is the outfit I wore to church. This was my first time in church. I went to Walterboro Church of God in Walterboro, SC. This is where my Great Grandparents and my Meme go to church. Aren't the fish the cutest? This outfit was given to me by our neighbor, Sarah Foltz and her daughter Hannah Grace. Me and Hannah Grace are friends. She likes to give me kisses.

May 18 - 24

This week has been a blur. I can't believe it's already Friday!

Below is a picture of me loving my blankie and my sister watching over me. She is so protective of me. Sometimes I wonder if she doesn't think my Mommy and Daddy are doing a good enough job.

This is a picture of me trying to talk to my Mommy. I'm starting to become more verbal. Mommy talks to me all the time but I don't think she understands me when I respond to her. Maybe she'll learn my language before too long.

This is a picture of my scratched up face. I try to tell Mommy that I can't cut my own fingernails and that they grow very fast but I don't think she believes me. As you can see, I did a number on my face during the night. The one under my left eye is pretty deep. Mommy hopes it doesn't become a scar.

As you can see, I am in a good mood in the mornings. This is my favorite time of the day, unlike my parents. I can tell they are NOT morning people. I seem to take after my Grandmas on that aspect.
Once again, a photo taken before daycare. Do you like this outfit? Mommy picked it out for me from Kohls. It says "Let's Bee Friends" on the bib. I thought it appropriate to wear to daycare :)

We are off to the beach (North Myrtle) for this holiday weekend. I am not sure what a beach is but I guess I will find out soon enough.

May 11 - May 17

Hello again everyone! My mommy was a bit slack this week didn't really take many pictures of me. She says it had something to do with my fussiness and her being tired. I think she's just making up excuses.

Mommy has a video of me that she wants to post to this blog but she can't figure out how to reduce the size of it. If she gets it to work, she'll post it for everyone to see.

Last Saturday, May 10th, (I know it isn't in the time frame in the title of this blog but oh well) I got to meet my great-great-grandmother. She is in Walterboro, SC in a nursing home. Below is a picture of her holding me.

Below is the picture I was most excited about. This is a picture of 5 generations!!! Me, my mommy, grandma (Meme), great-grandma and great-great-grandma. Isn't that awesome!?!?!
This is me and my great-grandpa. This was at my Meme's house in Walterboro. We invited all of my family over to meet me for the first time. Once again, Mom was slack and didn't get many pictures....at least someone used her camera to get a few. Isn't this a cute outfit? Mommy says the onesie underneath is fitting because it has little crabs on it.

This is my daddy trying to make me smile for the camera. I didn't want to cooperate this morning. Mommy woke me up from my nice nap to get me ready for daycare.

From what I hear, we're headed out of town this weekend. We are supposed to be going to stay with my Grandma and Grandpa Yarbrough. I will get after my mommy to take more pictures next week.

May 4 - May10

This was an eventful week for me. I turned 2 months old!

This is me and my Daddy on the lawn mower. Mommy wouldn't let Daddy ride me around. She wants me to be able to hold my head up better. It won't be long, I'm working hard to keep my head up so I can ride with Daddy. I'm also practicing standing. Mommy says I'm better at standing than I am at holding my head up. (pic taken May 6)

This is me on my 2 month birthday!!

I had my 2 month check up at the doctors office today. I also had to get my shots :( This is a picture of my boo boos. The nurse put a Daffy Duck bandaid on and a Tweety bandaid.

This is me ready for day care on May 8th. My Mommy let me wear my Daddy's Little Helper outfit today. It is so comfy! This outfit was given to me by my cousin Kenny his wife, Jessica and their little girl Alexis. I will hopefully get to meet her this weekend.

Week 2 of Blog

Below is a picture of me with my Grandma and Grandpa Yarbrough. They came to see me on April 26th and left April 27th. This picture was taken right before they went back home.


This week began my 2nd week of going to daycare. BUT, I didn't get to go on Monday or Tuesday because my sitter got the flu and could not open. So, I got to stay home with my Mommy on Monday. This is a picture of me all ready to go with Mommy to work to pick up stuff to be able to work from home with me.

On Tuesday morning, my Daddy stayed with me while my Mommy went into work. Mommy came home at 1:00 so Daddy could go into work. It was nice being able to spend time with them this week.

Below is a picture of me in the outfit my Grandpa's work people gave me. It is so cute - I love the dump truck on my belly. My mommy dressed me in it on Friday. She wanted me to look cute heading into the weekend :)

This weekend my Grandma and Grandpa Yarbrough are coming back up to see me. Well, actually, my Grandpa and Daddy are going out of town fishing. That means I will probably end up shopping with Mommy and Grandma....
