08 Lake Vacation (June 18-21)

This blog is all about my first vacation trip to Santee Cooper Lake in SC.

Mommy, Daddy and I went down on Tuesday night, June 17th. We got there around 10:30 - Way past my bed time.

Below is a picture of me touching the water for the first time. It was pretty warm.

Mommy and Meme stripped me down to my diaper and put me in my pool. Here I am enjoying that.

For some reason, when I sit on the edge of the pool, water starts coming out.

We took a short break and Mommy put my bathing suit on and we hit the water again.

Here is me and Mommy in the big water. I liked it much better than the pool.

My Uncle Wayne riggied me this wonderful fishing pole and added a fish. Instant fishing. It was great. Here's my proof :)

I played so hard, I just had to take a nap.So, I decided to snooze in Mommy and Daddy's bed for a while.

After waking up, I played in my exercauser. I had a blast.

Here is me and Mommy in the water again. This is my "Panama Jack" look. Doesn't it look great on me?

It got too hot outside, so we came in for a break and to get ready for dinner. Here I am laying on the sofa playing with my Meme again.

Here is me, Mommy and Daddy playing in the lake. I wasn't too thrilled about learning to float on my back.

Dad finally got the picture and held me closer. The water was much cooler on this day. We had several rain showers and it cooled things off drastically.

Daddy passed me of to Mommy to show him my swim moves..

Here is a picture of my cousin, Alexis (she just turned 2). She came over to our house to play with me a lot during vacation. Well, I like to think it was me she came over to play with. Although, I do have my doubts. She seemed to enjoy playing with my toys more...

Unfortunately, this was our last day and she was just coming over to tell us bye :(

June 15 - June 28

Hello everyone! It has been a while, I know. We had vacation and just a lot going on so my Mom didn't get any pictures posted. We'll make up for it now though :)

This is a picture of me and my Daddy on Father's Day. Don't we look so cute together. It was a very special day for the two of us.

The below picture was also taken on Father's Day. See me in my "big boy chair"??

On June 17th (after day care) we got in the car and drove to Santee, SC. We stayed in a house with my Meme Thomas and my Great-Grandparents and several others. My Mom tells me that this is an annual thing.

I think I just wore myself out (taken June 19).

QUIET!!! I'm TRYING to read my book.

My cousin ("Uncle") Nick decided to play with me this morning. I look really excited. (taken June 20) He calls me Panama Jack....

My Daddy decided to join in on the fun.

We had a really good time at the lake. I enjoyed getting in the water with my Mom. They took a pool down for me but I didn't enjoy that as much as the lake itself. Maybe next year when I'm able to actually sit up on my own I'll enjoy my pool more.

My Meme took pictures of me in the water at the lake and has some of me in my pool. She has mailed them to Mommy to post. So, hopefully over the weekend, we will get another blog posted with all of our vacation pictures from the lake.

Mommy took this picture the morning of June 25th. This was the night after my mommy and daddy left me with a babysitter so they could go out to dinner together. My sitter told Mommy and Daddy that I was a very sweet little boy. Man, I have her wrapped around my finger.

Mommy has videos of me to post for this time period, she just hasn't been able to upload them yet. Stay tuned for the video(s).

June 8 - June 14

Ok, I know, I know, my mom is getting slack in getting my pictures uploaded so I can post to my blog. I just don't know what I'm going to do with her. She seems to think that her working is more important than posting my pictures....Man, I am going to have to straighten her out...

The picture below was taken June 8, 2008. My daddy was playing with me when Mom grabbed her camera.

Daddy had to get into the shower so I was passed off to my mom (which is the normal course of things). She decided to keep taking pictures of me.

Here is me in my Exersaucer. My Great Grandma Phillips gave this to me. It is my new play toy. I really enjoy playing in it. Mommy and Daddy have to put books in the bottom so my feet can touch but it's OK, I still have lots of fun.

This is my mommy's new favorite me. This was taken the morning of June 10, 2008. Of course, Daddy is the one that bought the camo outfit I'm wearing. It says "This is what a REAL hunter looks like."

Ok, I'm not sure why Mommy wanted to post this picture. It's kind of embarrassing to me. I guess the only thing I can say is...."Got Milk?"

Here I am again in my Exersaucer. As you can see, I really enjoy it.

Mommy has a video of me in my Exersaucer. She will have to post it later. She's using Daddy's laptop and it doesn't have the right programs to post and play the video. So, stay tuned to see when Mommy posts the video for this week.

June 1 - June 7

Hi everyone! I am very sorry this is being posted a day late but yesterday was way off schedule for Mom and me. Mommy stayed home with me yesterday because my day care was closed due to a death in the family. I had a lot of fun. We played yesterday morning and then I took a nap while Mommy cleaned out my closet and then worked from home. After I woke up, Mommy dressed me and we went and met Daddy for lunch. My daddy fed me while Mommy ate lunch and then they switched off. After lunch, Mommy took me to Daddy's work to see the people he works with. Then, Mommy took me to her work to see everyone there. It was a busy day but I had a blast being with Mommy.

Below is a picture of me from May 31st. I wanted to show everyone my State outfit. As you can see, Mommy about cut my head off in the picture. I think she was more interested in trying to get me to smile than get me actually in the picture. Kinda defeats the purpose, I know but I think we all know how my Mommy is in the mornings.....

Here is a picture of me all ready for day care on Thursday, June 5th. Mommy dressed me a little preppy but I had a lot of comments on how cute I looked, so I guess it was ok.

This is the outfit Mommy initially dressed me in yesterday. But, I did not end up wearing this out to lunch. Mommy realized, after she put this on me, that it had not been previously washed and she said it was too big for me yet. So, I ended up wearing a State outfit :) Mommy thought it was appropriate because Daddy works on NC State's Centennial Campus. Mommy was slack and didn't get a picture of me in that outfit....

I seem really happy today. If you can't read it because of my arms/hands, my onesie says "This is what a REAL Hunter looks like". I'm sure you've all guess it by now....Daddy got this for me from Cabelas.

Mommy says I look like I'm planning something BIG in this picture so, she had to add it to the blog.
