July 20 - July 26

Well, this has been one long week. There have been just 3 of us at day care this week. You know I can't complain about it because that means more attention for me :)

However, I did start something new at daycare this week. I noticed that my friend, Jason (6 months), started eating rice cereal at lunch. So, I pitched a fit until I was given some. Well, I ate it!! It was great! Ms. Janet can't feed me fast enough. Mind now, I won't eat for Mommy and Daddy but I'll eat at daycare. Mommy isn't too happy about this. She's going to try to feed me at noon today. We'll see what kind of mood I'm in as to whether I'll eat or not.

Daddy is currently in Indianapolis with his friend Brian. They are attending the races this weekend. He's supposed to be home Monday afternoon. So, it's just me and Mom this weekend. I'm trying to be good but sometimes that's hard.

This picture was taken with Mommy's cell phone on July 23. She didn't take any pictures with the regular camera this week. It was a very busy week....

This picture was taken Friday (25th) morning. Mommy took it before we left for daycare and sent it to Daddy on his cell phone. He was at the airport waiting on his flight at the time.

This picture was taken Saturday morning (26th). Mommy sent it to Daddy to tell him good morning. Check out those sleep pants Mommy has on. Daddy gave her those for her birthday.

The news this week is that my picture will be posted in the next edition of the Wolfpacker. I'm very excited. This will be my first picture in "print". Mommy thinks this is a pretty cool thing. Below is the picture that will be posted.

Stay tuned for next weeks adventures....

July 14 - 19

OK, FINALLY, here's another post WITH PICTURES.
These top 3 pictures are out of order. We can't figure out how to move them down to put them in order.
These picture was taken July 19th. Daddy just HAD to show off me in my camo.

This picture was taken the afternoon of July 13th. I'm so happy.

This picture was taken July 14th. My Daddy and I were playing on the bed. Mommy grabbed the camera and started taking pictures....Sorry it's blurry but it's the best picture.

The pictures below were taken July 19th. Daddy had me trying on my hats. As you can see, I still have a peanut head. BUT, they are fitting better. The red has is Daddy's. He just had to see what I looked like in NC State :)

More to come next week. Stay tuned.....

July 6 - 12

Hello everyone. Welcome back.
My mommy forgot to take her camera to work to up load my pictures of the week, so you'll have to check in tomorrow to see if she got them done tonight. I'll be sure to fuss at her for you...
In the meantime, I'll tell you about the week.
Sunday was my 4 month birthday. Unfortunately, that's the day we had to pack up and leave the beach. So, we were in the car a lot. I was still not feeling all that well but I did feel better....
Monday, I got to stay home with my Grandma and Grandpa Yarbrough. Daycare is closed this whole week, so I got to stay at my house with the grandparents. I got to play with all of MY toys. It was great! Although, I did not get to play with my friends.
Tuesday, Grandpa had to work, so I had Grandma all to myself. We had lots of fun together. Tuesday night, I decided I was going to start "talking". Mommy was holding me and I started "yelling" and holding my ear. Everyone thought I was getting an ear infection. Turns out, I'm just practicing using my voice AND I found my ear at the same time.
Wednesday, I had to go to my 4 month check up with my doctor. I weighed 14 lbs 3.5 oz and was in the 45th percentile in my weight. I was 25.5 inches long and was in the 75th percentile for my height. My head was 16 inches which was in the 10th percentile. Mommy and Daddy call me "Peanut Head". The doctor checked out my ear really well and told Mom that it could have been pressure behind my ear from my congestion or it was just coincidence that at the same time started "talking" I found my ear....who knew..
Wednesday night, we had a really bad electrical storm. The lightning got Princess' fence :( After the storm, my Grandma and Grandpa went home. My Meme was headed up. Meme had lots of problems getting up here, I'm told. She had car problems. Mommy says she got here a little after 12:30. I saw her for a short time at 5am when I thought I'd get up for the day. So, everyone in our house had little sleep that night.
Thursday, I was such a good boy for Meme. Mommy was glad because Meme was exhausted from the day before. Mommy came home for lunch but I slept through it and didn't get to see her. Meme told me about it later. After Mommy and Daddy got home, they put the stuff in a thing they called a bowl and tried to put it in my mouth. I wasn't sure how to react. I'd let the spoon thing in my mouth but then I'd push it out with my tongue along with all the food they put in my mouth. Mommy tried for a while and then Daddy took over. Then, I finally got tired of that and started screaming for my bottle. I got that and I was a very happy boy. After all of that fun, Mommy and Daddy met some of their friends for dinner while I stayed with Meme. I went to bed at 7:30!!!
Friday - Meme and I are picking Mommy up and taking her to lunch.

June 29 - July 5

A lot has happened this past week. So let me get started in filling you in.
First of all, my Mommy had a birthday. For her birthday, I decided to get sick. She had to take me to the doctor. He told us that I offically had my first cold. He suggested that I take Tylenol for my fever. I also had to get saline drops put up my nose. I'm sure as you all and figure, it's not very pleasant. After drops are put in, then my nose has to be suctioned out. Now, the suctioning, I can deal with. It's the drops that bother me. I usually end up getting them in my mouth, eyes cheek...everywhere but my nose.

Well, it's July 7th and I am still sick....not so much fun. Although! I am getting better.
Below is a picture of me on Mommy's birthday prior to my doctors visit.

The next thing that happened was that Mommy, Daddy and I rode to the beach on Thursday (3rd). They took off work and we headed out. The sad part was that Mommy and I felt so bad (Mommy's sick too) that we didn't even go down to see the ocean!
Anyhow...we did enjoy the 4th of July. Below are some pictures from that day.

We went to Auny Amy and Uncle Mike's house for some hot dogs on the grill and some fellowship. Below is me and Grandpa waiting on the hot dogs to get done.

This is me, Daddy and Aunt Amy sitting on the sofa waiting on the fireworks to start.

This is me and Daddy checking out the fireworks. I was so brave. I didn't get scared once!!!! Mommy and Daddy were so proud. Daddy says he's certain now that I won't be gun shy when it comes time to teach me to hunt.

See the pretty fireworks!?!?!?!

Here's me with my Uncle Mike and Aunt Amy.

It's getting late and way past my bed time. So, as the usual course of things, I started getting fussy. Aunt Amy took me outside to try to sooth me and Daddy snapped a picture.

Aunt Amy and I ended up downstairs laying on the hamock together. I was sleeping good when Mommy and Daddy came down to take me home.

All in all, I had a great July the 4th weekend. If I was not sick, it would be been even better.

Stay tuned for next week - I'll be celebrating my 4 month birthday.
